Council Appointed
Positions
Purpose: This policy
provides for Council Appointed positions.
Actions:
- General provisions
- The Council of Officers reserves the right to create
and appoint positions deemed necessary to the function of NOBLE.
- An appointee to any position created by the Council
of Officers serves entirely at the will of the Council.
- The Council will appoint or remove an appointee by a
majority vote
- Treasurer
- The Treasurer shall:
- Be responsible for the accounting and management of
all monies of belonging to NOBLE.
- Monitor the receipt and distribution of all funds,
making such distributions at the direction of the Council of Officers.
- Provide a monthly statement of NOBLE finances to be
read into the minutes of the monthly Council meetings
- Maintain the financial records in a condition ready
to be audited. The Treasurer will cooperate and provide all necessary
information for any requested audit.
- Prepare and submit all required tax and financial
reports.
- Prepare and submit to the Council of officers a
detailed financial report following the close of the fiscal year.
- Secretary
- The Secretary shall:
- Ensure that minutes are taken, recorded and kept of
general membership meetings. Prepared minutes from these meetings must
be distributed to the membership in a timely fashion.
- Prepare reports of all meetings for publication in
the official newsletter of the NOBLE.
- Maintain and make available for distribution
accurate and up to date By Laws of NOBLE.
- Maintain a log of all policy, procedures and
standing legislation of NOBLE.
- Prepare and file all documents other than
financial.
