Council Appointed Positions

Purpose:  This policy provides for Council Appointed positions.

Actions:

  1. General provisions
    1. The Council of Officers reserves the right to create and appoint positions deemed necessary to the function of NOBLE.
    2. An appointee to any position created by the Council of Officers serves entirely at the will of the Council.
    3. The Council will appoint or remove an appointee by a majority vote
  2. Treasurer
    1. The Treasurer shall:
      1. Be responsible for the accounting and management of all monies of belonging to NOBLE.
      2. Monitor the receipt and distribution of all funds, making such distributions at the direction of the Council of Officers.
      3. Provide a monthly statement of NOBLE finances to be read into the minutes of the monthly Council meetings
      4. Maintain the financial records in a condition ready to be audited. The Treasurer will cooperate and provide all necessary information for any requested audit.
      5. Prepare and submit all required tax and financial reports.
      6. Prepare and submit to the Council of officers a detailed financial report following the close of the fiscal year.
  3. Secretary
    1. The Secretary shall:
      1. Ensure that minutes are taken, recorded and kept of general membership meetings. Prepared minutes from these meetings must be distributed to the membership in a timely fashion.
      2. Prepare reports of all meetings for publication in the official newsletter of the NOBLE.
      3. Maintain and make available for distribution accurate and up to date By Laws of NOBLE.
      4. Maintain a log of all policy, procedures and standing legislation of NOBLE.
      5. Prepare and file all documents other than financial.
