Jay Wiseman has over 35 years of experience in BDSM and
was one of the early pioneers and builders of the BDSM community in the
San Francisco area. He continues to be heavily involved, both in his
local area and nationally, as an SM author, educator, mentor, workshop
leader, video producer, expert witness, and activist. Noted for being
both an exceptionally knowledgeable and highly entertaining presenter,
he is very much in demand and has presented on various aspects of
relationships and sexuality in more than 50 cities in the United States
and Canada. In 2007, Black Rose presented him with the Vaughn Keith
National Educator Award.
Jay is the author of the frequently recommended book "SM
101: A Realistic Introduction" and the founder of the publishing
company that later became Greenery Press. His book, "Jay Wiseman's
Erotic Bondage Handbook" is widely hailed as the book that sets the
standard of fundamental knowledge for this practice. His instructional
videos on rope bondage are excellent resources for both beginners and
experienced bondage practitioners. His most recent book, .The Toybag
Guide to Dungeon Emergencies and Supplies. provides crucial information
to both players and dungeon monitors. He is currently working on a
number of books and videos.
Jay holds a first-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, is a
member of Mensa, and lived in San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury district
during the Sixties. A former ambulance crewman with years of experience
and recipient of the highest Red Cross commendation for emergency
action, Jay now teaches classes in basic and advanced emergency medical
care for BDSM clubs and other groups. After receiving his law degree in
2005 and passing the bar exam in 2006, he sometimes works as a
part-time law school professor. His areas of special legal interest
include providing legal support for alternative communities, teaching
bar exam preparation, search and seizure law, and conflict resolution.

Rope
Bondage You Can Actually Use (Saturday, 10:00 am to 12:30pm):
Do you want to tie up your lover
but are not sure how to go about
it? Have you ever attended a bondage demonstration of
spectacular
techniques but returned home with no idea of how to tie them yourself?
Come spend some entertaining and educational time with one of the top
BDSM
educators, the author of "Jay Wiseman's Erotic Bondage Handbook"
published by Greenery Press, and the producer of the excellent video
"Jay Wiseman Teaches Basic Roe Bondage" to learn some simple, easy to
learn, and widely usable bondage techniques.
Jay travels throughout the country teaching bondage techniques ranging
from the
very basic to the very advanced. In this session, he will
present the who, what, where, when, and why of rope bondage, followed
by a
demonstration and practice session of some user-friendly yet wickedly
effective techniques from his highly recommended book for tying
single-limb cuffs, double-limb cuffs, spread-eagles, hogties, and arm
harnesses, and you will be able to both remember and use these
techniques when you get home!
Negotiation as Foreplay
(Saturday, 2:30 to 4:30 pm):
Good pre-scene negotiations help
lay the foundation for a wonderful
scene. Rushed or inadequate pre-scene negotiations lay the
foundation for a
disaster. Self-confessed "negotiation fetishist" Jay Wiseman
will present an approach to pre-scene negotiation, in-scene
communication,
and post-scene feedback that is easy to remember, comprehensive,
effective, and "keeps the fun in it."
Anatomy and
Physiology for BDSMers (Saturday, 5:00 to 6:30 pm)
What is the real story about
cutting off circulation? Where
are
those nerves and blood vessels? When do you really have to
worry if
a limb turns cold? Has the bottom actually gone into shock or
is it
something much less serious? What is positional
asphyxia?
What are the carotid sinus bodies? What is commotion
cordis? Come join
Jay Wiseman, author of "Dungeon Emergencies and Supplies", former
director of training for
an ambulance service, and a former instructor in advanced
cardiac life support as he presents a BDSM-oriented overview of how a
body is built, how it works, how to prevent problems, what can go
wrong, what to look
for, when to worry, and what to do.
Tight, Immobilizing
Bondage (Sunday, 1:30 to 3:00 pm)
The more they can move, the more
likely they are to get loose, and that
is
bad! This presentation covers the use of specific knots and
tying techniques to render a bottom almost completely unable to
move. Bottoms can be tied into positions that range from very
comfortable to
stressful.
BDSM Bloopers,
Blunders, and Disasters (Sunday, 3:30 to
5:00pm)
BDSM play is, by its nature,
always at least somewhat
unpredictable. From
time to time, unexpected events will occur during our play, and their
effects can range from the hilarious to the tragic. Join BDSM
educator Jay Wiseman as he discusses ways to increase the chances that
your
scenes will go as planned and that you will obtain the desired
results. Jay will discuss the various types of such
unexpected events, why they happen, how they can be prevented, and what
to do if one
happens anyway. Numerous actual events will be described in
the words of the people who were there.
Wait
Til I Get My Hands On Him (Friday, 7:30 to 9:00pm)
A women-only workshop on how to give a man a truly
excellent hand job.
Covers male sexual anatomy and physiology, several different stroking
techniques, different types of lubricants, and masturbation
goals. Also covers hygiene and safer sex issues, aftercare, timing,
tempo, and advanced techniques. Includes a section on fiendish
masturbation games.
Suggested audience: Women only. Very good for beginners.
Experienced players
will also likely learn some new things.
Equipment needed:
Attendees will need something penis-shaped to practice on.

All
Classes to be held at NOBLE
- Saturday March 27th:
(2-4 PM) Cut Cut, Pop Pop, Siz Siz
(4-6 PM) With a Rat A Tat-Tat - Here They Cum and Come Hot: The
Sensuous to Sadistic Art of Caning (with a special dose of Fire canes)
- SUNDAY March 28th:
(2-4 PM) Partial Suspensions: Connecting through Earth and Sky in Rope
Bondage
Cut
Cut, Pop Pop, Siz Siz (2:00
pm - 4 pm):
Forms of body art such as Cutting, Devil.s Fire (Cell
Popping), and
more elaborate Branding are often used in BDSM expressions of play and
Rites of Passage. In a survey of these expressions of sharp stuff and
fire, Sol will cover the psychology and spirituality possible in these
expressions as well as the acts in play and spirit themselves.
Antisepsis practice, suitable for all, will be discussed and
demonstrations of the techniques will be covered.
Caining
(4:00 pm - 6:00 pm):
Leading into hands-on opportunities Sol will discuss the
construction of canes and their capabilities to produce rhythms and
sensations from Sensuous to Sadistic. With a little knowledge a cane or
canes can caress with silken touch, or bite like a pit viper. Often
feared the cane is one of the most versatile staples found in many BDSM
toy bags. Sol debunks the myth that a cane should always be feared, but
also shows why it might be feared. Sol will demonstrate trance-inducing
percussive techniques, as well as single, dual, and quad caning. Right
for the novice to the experienced, he covers techniques, safety, body
physiology and sweet spots. Please feel free to bring your own canes
and we will talk about them as time permits. Get your groove on to the
rhythm of the beat. Oh yeah and specially for NOBLE Michael will show a
bit of fire caning and rhythm techniques just to add a little heat to
the gumbo.
Partial
Suspensions:
Connecting through Earth and Sky in Rope Bondage
(SUNDAY March 28th:
2:00 pm - 4:00 pm)
Partial suspensions are among the most versatile and
connective
expressions in bondage. The world of rope and other bondage expressions
offers many opportunities of style, intent and potential. Nell anchored
to the ground, tied to the track waiting for the salt of the Earth, her
Dudley to rescue her. Sprites suspended in the air as works of art.
Rope inspired by Earth and Sky offering different opportunities for
connection. Here we will examine the versatile partial suspension which
combines the power of floor work with the spectacle of suspension in a
synergy of potential. Michael Sol will show the ability to invoke
romance, raw power, and the stresses and indulgences that open the
potential of your expressions in rope. The construction of partial
suspension as well as basic rope handling skills and safety will be
covered. Bring your rope as you will be invited to tie along.hemp or
jute is recommended in 7 or 8 meter lengths. However, other materials
will be discussed and demonstration will cover the rope you work with.
Participation in rope is offered but not required.

April
Saturday April 10th |
presenting:
Scot & Commodore
Saturday
April 10, 2010
Scot:
Scot has been involved with BDSM in some form or fashion
since he was 17; he
may not have known the difference between a hogtie and a pigtail butt
plug back
then, but his first girlfriend could tell you he was kinky.
The whole thing seemed like a good idea to him at the time, and he’s
been part of the
lifestyle for more than 20 years now. Scot is currently part of several
groups across the Mid South, serving several
in various leadership capacities, and enjoys traveling to events and
sharing experiences nationally. He is the founder of MPEG
(Mississippi Power Exchange Group) and has been a NOBLE member since
its first party. He was a member of the local organizing committee and
served as marketing
director for LLC 8 (the Leather Leadership Conference) in New Orleans
and is
proud to share his marketing expertise with BDSM organizations and
events. He has diverse interests in the dungeon, with skills in a wide
variety of BDSM
practices and techniques. He teaches classes including BDSM 101,
safety,
dungeon monitoring, flogging, rope bondage, pyrophilia (fire play), and
sensation play.
He is a marketing and communications director, a
freelance video
producer/shooter/director/editor, and an FAA licensed pilot. He claims
these things keeps him busy when he’s not tying up submissive girls.
Curt
(Commodore)
Curt McClain has done a variety of things over the
years. He has built houses and
barns. He ran a cabinet and display business. He was a firefighter. He
has
hitchhiked across Japan. He has survived three marriages. He has raised
five sons. He was a surfer. He is a sailor. He is a juggler. He is a
designer.
He has studied Aikido and Kendo. He is a peacemaker. And through all of
this
Curt McClain has been a photographer. He plays in the light and he does
it
well. He says that we all have to do something right.
All
Classes to be held at NOBLE
Saturday April 10, 2010
- Predicament
Bondage (2:30 - 4:30)
- Photography
(4:45 - 6:00)
***If anyone is
interested in volunteering to be a demo bottom, please

or Rachelonearth on Fetlife***
Predicament
Bondage (2:30 - 4:30)
Take a couple of clothespins. Throw in a pulley. Mix in
a few pieces of
lumber. Simmer with an electrical contact switch. Then add a dash
of uncertainty. Wait for something interesting to happen. What
do you get?
You get a delicious treat we call predicament bondage.
By using the principles and techniques associated with predicament
bondage, you
and your partners can open up a new realm of possibilities for creative
expression, physical sensation, sexual exploration, and emotional
connection
that is perhaps unique in the leather community.
Whether you enjoy giving or receiving sensation,
pleasure, pain, punishment,
humiliation, or praise, predicament bondage is likely to offer options
that you
may find very appealing. Setting up scenarios that force people to
make choices (which apply to both master and slave) or that simply wait
for the
inevitable to happen can also offer a new perspective on the
psychological and
emotional states of your partner.
Predicament bondage is always new. Dominants who may
find themselves being
predictable or submissives who get a little jaded or bored with more of
the
same will delight in the physical, mental, and emotional variety it
offers. So why not try something that challenges the top and bottom? Do
something
different that can be different every time. Let your inner creative
genius, sadist, masochist, and mindfuck self out of the bag with some
scenarios
that keep people, literally and figuratively, on their toes.
While some scenarios may be more intense or extreme,
this workshop is appropriate for
everyone regardless of experience levels or interests. The concepts
discussed are easily adapted to suit personal tastes.
Photography
(4:45 - 6:00)
Shadow and Light - How to shoot BDSM like a master in 5
easy lessons. (And if you
believe that we have some swamp land we want to sell you.) While not
guaranteeing to make anyone a master, Commodore says that there are
just
a couple of secrets of the trade that can make anybodys' pictures come
to life.
What we will be sharing in this workshop will include tips and
techniques that
can be used by anyone, and that do not require fancy or expensive
equipment.
And what you learn in the dungeon might just improve your holiday
pictures with
the family, too.

All
Classes to be held at NOBLE
- 2PM -- Knives and other sharp pointy things.
- 4PM -- Communication in a Scene: How to Read a Bottom and How to Be Read By A Top
Knives and other sharp pointy things.
Blood and passion, light scratches, sensual sensations, fantasies and
mind play, rites of passages and body modifications. All of this and
much more. Sharp pointy objects can take us all the way in BDSM, from
the most soft, sensual, romantic play, to the most heavy blood play.
They can be all about S&M or they can be all about helping you in
your own spiritual journey. Talons, knives, scalpels, bear claws,
needles, teeth, finger nails, and so many more types of sharp objects.
I'll show you mine, you show me yours. Bring your own "sharp pointy
things", and together lets learn how to touch our partner's soul as well
as their bodies and minds.
Communication in a Scene: How to Read a Bottom and How to Be Read By A Top
Ever negotiate a scene and some one tell you they are a pain slut and
find out they are not, at least by your idea of a pain slut? Ever
negotiate a scene and someone tell you they are NOT a pain slut, but
during the scene you find they want to go farther then you could
imagine? Ever have someone go “quiet” and not know what it means? Every
have someone giggle while you think you are hitting as hard as you can?
Trust me, Safe Words are NOT enough. Negotiations are NOT enough. We,
Bottoms and Tops must learn to “communicate” during our scenes, but in
ways that don’t ruin the mood or the “space”. We have to learn to read
physical language, and maybe even the language of human energies.
I have some ideas, (one of them my own secret, come in and I will
tell it to you). You have your ideas, so bring those. Together lets try
and discover ways to make our scenes more memorable, more “hot”, more
where both partners want to really go.
